Cappa Café, that little coffee shop at Lakeside Village, has closed after less than six months.
That space has already been snatched up by La Paloma taqueria, which moved from its original location about a mile away, just a little bit north on the service road and closer to Royal.
The new owners elected to keep the drive-thru window, making this one of the only spots in Dallas you can get tacos al pastor without leaving your car. Check back this Friday for my weekly Restaurant Talk, where I’ll give my full report on La Paloma.
