The corner of Hillcrest and Northwest Highway has seen a lot of change in the past few months with the opening of Elevation Burger and the announcement of Tasti D-Lite. Next up is Tiff’s Treats
, opening May 14.
Started in 1999 by two University of Texas students, Tiff’s Treats has garnered countless fans of its warm, made-from-scratch cookies. Available for pick-up or delivery, there are 10 flavors plus brownies, ice cream, ice-cold milk and soft drinks.
The grand opening on May 14 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. will feature boxes of cookies for $3/dozen and the chance to win free cookies for a year! All proceeds from the event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas and a little boy named Matthew who has been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. His wish is to go on an Alaskan cruise. Each box of cookies purchased on May 14 will get Matthew closer to his dream.
