65299554.thbThe Dallas ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously at a meeting Feb. 28 to upgrade security at its campuses.

The $4.5 million security upgrades will include additional security cameras at high schools, electronic door-strike buzzers, eight camera digital recorders systems, card readers at all elementary schools and one-way observation portals in every portable in the district.

Some improvements will begin right away while upgrades will begin next academic year.
