The Cambridge School of Dallas hosts a free educational event for the community, featuring Professor Paul Weinhold, Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at University Park United Methodist Church. Prof. Weinhold will be sharing his “Observations on William Shakespeare’s use of Logic.”

On Saturday at 11 a.m., Studio Movie Grill at Royal and N. Central hosts a screening of the animated feature, “The Nut Job,” tailored for children with special needs. Tickets are only available at the box office. Cost is $7.50-$8.50 and free for children with special needs and their siblings.

North Haven Gardens hosts a clinic on how to grow your very own veggie garden on Saturday from 9-11:30 a.m. This beginner-level class will focus on the basics of getting your edible garden off to the best start possible, such as picking the right veggies and soil.
