Looking for a reason to indulge at The Original Pancake House? We have a good one. From June 1 to June 19 the restaurant will donate a portion of the sales from its Strawberry Cakes to Camp iHope, a nonprofit serving patients at Medical City Children’s Hospital and their siblings. While you’re waiting on your food, write a postcard wishing the campers a memorable summer. All Original Pancake House locations will participate in the campaign, but you’ll probably want to visit the one in our neighborhood at Northwest Highway and Midway.

After breakfast, take a look around the corner. CultureMap wrote about Preston Hollow Grill, a new restaurant opening in the same shopping center.

i Fratelli is also moving to the area. The pizza chain plans to open its 13th location just across the street at 4235 West Northwest Highway. No official date yet, but the owners are shooting for early fall.
