Barbecue and fine arts aren’t usually synonymous, but Preston Hollow’s Museum of Biblical Arts “8×8 Art Exhibition and Auction” is showcasing sophisticated art in a down-to-earth setting.
The exhibition and auction from 7-10 p.m. on Nov. 16 serves as a fundraiser for the museum’s educational programs and exhibits. Attendees can bid on miniature works of fine art, observe a live painting demonstration and browse a celebrity art gallery. Big Al’s Smokehouse BBQ, a wine pull and live music by Lucky Pierres round out the eclectic event.
