Lamplighter kindergarteners and third-graders have set their sights on exploring space. The students recently met Tom Jones, a NASA astronaut who went on four missions to Earth orbit, during a special assembly at the Preston Hollow private school. Jones chatted with students about what it takes to live in outer space before answering their many questions.
Get to know Franklin Middle School’s principal, Joseph Sotelo, Friday, Oct. 6, for coffee and conversation. Sotelo and his administrative staff will discuss school-wide events and their plans for the year. The meet-and-greet is slated from 8:35-9:30 a.m. at the library.
