Finally, our chance to scoop into the Dough Dough has arrived

Raw cookie dough is trendy across the country, and now you can get your fix in Preston Hollow.

The Dough Dough, at 5915 Forest Lane, is serving customers more than a dozen varieties from snickerdoodle to s’mores.

SMU graduate Gina Ginsberg is the brains behind the confectionary creations, open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Those of us wary of raw egg or scarred by memories of food poisoning should not panic. Ginsberg uses pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour, which reduces the likelihood of foodborne illness.
