Two institutions in Preston Hollow will receive awards at the Bryan’s House Pathways to Inclusion luncheon, awards and special needs summit.
Temple Emanu-El and Ursuline Academy are receiving the Wisdom’s Hope Award. This honor is given to community leaders for their service to Bryan’s House and the City of Dallas.
This is the fifth iteration of the event. Bryan’s House provides underserved children in eight counties in North Texas with specialized medical, educational and therapeutic care and holistic support services.
In addition to the awards, there will be a panel discussion with seven speakers who will talk about how businesses can help people with disabilities find meaningful work through technology and accessibility initiatives. It will be moderated by WFAA reporter Jason Whitely. There will also be a pop-up Kendra Scott shop and a raffle.
Attendees are asked to wear metallic-colored accents to reflect the technological focus of the event.
Individual tickets cost $150, and sponsorships range from $500 to $25,000.
The luncheon will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Arts District Mansion, 2101 Ross Ave.
