Construction is ongoing on the Northaven Trail bridge.

Most recently, workers have installed the bridge girders near Northaven Road and North Central Expressway. When finished, the project will “significantly enhance pedestrian and bicycle connectivity for our city,” Jeff Kitner, the president of Friends of Northaven Trail, told The Advocate in May.
The project includes a bridge over Central Expressway, connecting the Northaven Trail to the White Rock Creek Trail, Cottonwood Creek Trail and an extended SoPac Trail.
