As Oncor continues work on the transmission improvement project along Northaven Trail, it has identified trees impeding crews’ ability to install new equipment.

The company needs to remove about 20 trees by the end of the year to complete its work.

However, the owners of the trees have not been identified.

Oncor is asking any owners or anyone interested in preserving the trees to contact the office to coordinate relocation.

The trees slated for removal are:

  • One planted under the transmission line located after trail marker NT169 before Pensive Drive.
  • Eight trees planted near the transmission tower at Norcross Lane.
  • Twelve trees planted along the trail and Eastern Avenue near the Dallas North Tollway.

Anyone interested in the trees should contact Emily Bookout at 214-697-8985 or ebookout@ufsrw.com or Karen Cypert at 817-228-8030 or at kcypert@ufsrw.com.
