Ebby Halliday’s two-story home on Preston Road has sold.

The 3,700-square-foot home located near Preston Road’s intersection with Northwest Highway was purchased by the next-door neighbors, the Dallas Morning News reported.

It has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, according to Redfin.

The home was built in 1967 and was last owned by the Ebby Halliday Foundation. It sits next to the Ebby Halliday Realtors office, which is housed in a smaller white cottage. That building used to be the Preston Hollow City Hall.

Halliday died in 2015; she was 104 years old. She started in business when she was 8 years old, selling Cloverine salve to neighbors in Kansas. Over the years, she learned and gained experience, and eventually she opened her own boutique. One of her customers was the wife of Texas oil magnate Clint Murchison.
