Galleria Dallas is bringing Miss America’s 2023 Outstanding Teen competition candidates on August 8 just in time for the competition to begin.

The candidates are 51 young women from across the country seeking thousands of dollars in college scholarships, and they will start their week with an 8 a.m. breakfast at Nordstrom Marketplace Café before heading to the rink at 10 a.m. for a bonding experience on the ice just days before the competition.

After skating, the candidates will gather in front of the Back to School Wall for a meet-and-greet session with autographs. Miss America 2022 Emma Broyles and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2022 Marcelle Leblanc will also be present for autographs.

“We’re delighted to host these talented and poised candidates for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen at Galleria Dallas during this back-to-school season,” said Megan Townsend, the center’s director of marketing and partnerships. “We love the opportunity to support this women’s empowerment organization that helps young women attend college.”

Galleria Dallas will partner with the Miss America Organization again on August 10 when Miss America candidates gather at the new Flea Style location for a private shopping experience at the boutique’s hat bar.
