Van Leeuwen, a French ice cream shop, officially opened at Inwood Village Thursday.

This is the ice cream shop’s second Dallas location and sixth to open in Texas. The other Dallas location is in Uptown.

Some of the flavor options diners can choose from include raspberry layer cake, black cherry chip, honey comb and cookies and cream. There’s even a Texas exclusive called Texas Rodeo Sundae, which features honeycomb candy, praline butter cake and caramel sauce.

Before it had storefronts, Van Leeuwen began as an ice cream truck in New York City. The ice cream is made from a combination of milk, eggs, cream and cane sugar, and they also have vegan alternatives.

Van Leeuwen is located inside Inwood Village at 5450 W Lovers Lane, Suite 130.
