Thirsty Lion Gastropub marks its first anniversary in Preston Hollow on Friday, Sept. 15 with activities, tastings and opportunities to support victims of the Hawaiian wildfires in the Maui community.
The festivities at the Preston Hollow location will include complimentary tasting, raffles, live music and an all-day happy hour in celebration of the milestone. Exclusive tastings start at 4 p.m. and will feature brands such as Tito’s Vodka, TX Revolver Beer, Deep Eddy Vodka. Patrons will have the chance to win incredible raffle prizes.
For every dollar spent on raffle entries, a charitable donation will be made to the United Way Maui Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to disaster relief and recovery efforts.
Thirsty Lion is committed to ongoing support for the Maui community, as they will donate $1 from the sale of two special cocktails, the Maui Mai Tai and the Hawaiian Sunshine, to the Maui Strong Fund. This nonprofit organization aids various charities in the Maui region. These cocktails will be available at all Thirsty Lion locations through Sept. 30.
The two cocktails featured during the event. The Maui Mai Tai, a cocktail made of Bacardi Rum, orange curacao, fresh lime juice, orgeat syrup and a float of dark rum. The Hawaiian Sunshine is made of Bacardi Rum, mango, passionfruit, coconut cream, muddled lime and orange.
The good times will continue with live music on the patio by Tony Cook from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
