If there’s a chill in the air in Texas, it’s officially the holiday season. Many events are happening around Dallas, but we’ve trimmed it down to North Dallas. This month, we can feast on local baked goods, find where Santa Claus is visiting and even craft our own creations. Something is waiting for everyone. So, grab the hot chocolate and be merry all the way down the streets. And, if you need something to fill the stockings, we’ve got that covered too.

Nutella Babka and more

It’s always a delicious time at the neighborhood bakery and they’re bringing back the classic Nutella babka for the Hanukkah season. Best described as part bread, part-cake, yet the whole dessert. Everyone can now pre-order for their festive calendar days.

Cocktail Classes

Why just drink a cocktail when you can become the bartender yourself? That’s what Tricky Fish asked too as they announced a mixology class to raise the holiday spirits. The class will be on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from around 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the classy class are $40 per person. To reserve a spot, reserve through their website.

Light up the trail

White Rock is brewing something up this month with its 12 Days of Christmas specials now through Dec. 24. Each day, the brewsters will have White Rock deals. Some specials on the calendar include discounts on products, coffee beans, baked goods and more.

Holiday lights

Of course there’s the traditional car ride through the neighborhoods to look at lights. Find the best lights in our neighborhood while cozying up to holiday tunes and warm cups of hot chocolate.
