Barrel & Bones’ new Dallas location is the first one to introduce a wine program and wine list to pair with its craft barbecue menu.

While a pint of beer and ‘cue are the typical pairing, Barrel & Bones believes red wine and red meat can make a good case as well. The new wine program offers 15 by-the-glass selections with some available for purchase by the bottle.

The barbecue joint has four other locations spread across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and its management is cognizant of the fact that each restaurant has different needs. The new wine program is only exclusive to the Dallas location.

Wines start at $7 with house blends such as cabernet, house chardonnay, pinot grigio, white zinfandel and brut. They will also have brands like Orin Swift, Kim Crawford, William Hill, Ruffino Lumina and Il Mionetto.

“We pride ourselves on knowing the neighborhoods in which we operate,” said Barrel & Bones partner Stephen Arrant. “We know that there are lots of wine lovers in the Inwood area, and we want to become a gathering spot for them to enjoy good wine and delicious food.”

The Inwood location will also start offering special discounts every Thursday during ‘Thirsty Thursdays.’ On these days, the restaurant will offer half-price wines by the bottle all day long.

A complete list of a wine list is on their website.
