Comerica Bank returns with its annual effort, benefiting Dallas CASA, allowing local teens to realize their dream prom nights by shopping through donated dresses, shoes and accessories.

Throughout February, people can give their prom dresses and other accessories a second life by donating them at Comerica Bank locations, including 5647 Lovers Ln, 5200 Forest Ln, 8850 Boedeker St near NorthPark Center, and three other sites.

During two weekends in March, a temporary prom boutique will feature racks of attire, fitting rooms, alteration stations and beauty services.

“Through generous donations from our customers, colleagues and the community, we have been able to send thousands of teens to prom in their dream dress over the past eight years,” said Beatrice Kelly, SVP and director of community development banking.

Since 2015, Comerica has collected over 6,000 formal wear donations, making prom a reality for many teen victims of abuse or neglect who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.

Recently, Comerica has expanded its impact by adding co-beneficiaries like the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas and Collin County. Members of Dallas CASA’s staff and Children’s Council sort through donations and create a shopping boutique at Dallas CASA’s training facility.
