Galleria Dallas presents the first Artist Collective exhibit of 2024, featuring landscape paintings by Dallas-based artist Molly Odom Magill.

Originally from West Texas, Magill is known for her vibrant paintings and mixed-media installations. Her works, displayed across Texas, currently decorate the walls of Genesis Women’s Shelter in Dallas.

“The bold colors and shapes found in Molly’s works evoke the varied landscapes of our home state,” Galleria Dallas Director of Marketing Megan Townsend said. “We’re excited to share her voice with our shoppers this spring.”

Magill’s contemporary paintings offer joyful interpretations of geography and landscape, showcasing vibrant colors and shapes.

“My work is rooted in place,” Maghill’s artist statement explained. “Who we are, where we come from and where we are going as expressed through color, form and texture. The work seeks to use these elements to express boundaries, intersections and paths, both on the canvas, and beyond. The hope is that each piece will allow us to consider how our paths, no matter how winding, push us to where we are and the beauty in that place.”

The exhibition will be on view on Level One in the Art Window, adjacent to Tommy Bahama, from now until April 23.
