Six Comerica banking centers collected 380 new or gently used formal dresses and accessories last month for its annual Prom Dress Drive.
Comerica partnered with Dallas CASA, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas, and of Collin County to donate the dresses. Each nonprofit hosted shopping events throughout March for local teens who have experienced abuse or neglect, providing them with the opportunity to attend prom.
Members of the Comerica Bank North Texas Women’s Forum helped organize the nonprofits’ prom boutique and shopping events.
In celebration of Comerica’s 175th anniversary, the bank partnered with Project Beauty to provide another level to the prom experience by offering complimentary hair and makeup makeovers on the night of the prom.
Since the first North Texas Prom Dress Drive in 2015, Comerica has donated 6,590 dresses to these organizations and other community partners.
