If you’re looking for something to dazzle the kiddos, take them to the grand opening of the new LEGO store at North Park this weekend—I hear there will be an eight-foot Yoda made entirely out of the toys, which might be worth checking out even if you don’t have kids. There will be all sorts of promotions and happenings at the store all weekend.
You can also catch a free performance of Annie this weekend over at the First United Methodist Church of Dallas. Rotunda Theatre is presenting the classic musical—and not only is admission free, so is parking and child care.
And after the show, you can head over to the Cork for the “BubbleQue.” This wine-and-dine event features two glasses of bubbly, a plate of chicken wings, chopped barbecued sausage, potato salad, and bread—all for $15. And if you don’t want the Flor Prosecco, it’s $10 for just the grub.
