Wildlike, a Dallas-based piercing jeweler, is opening its second location in Manhattan, New York this fall.
Owner Alysa Teichman opened the first Wildlike location in 2021 in The Shops of Highland Park. She also helps run Ylang23, the luxury jewelry shop her parents, Charles and Joanne Teichman, opened in The Plaza at Preston Center.
The second Wildlike location will be in Manhattan in a neighborhood she loved as a graduate student at New York University a decade ago, according to the Dallas Morning News. Teichman is also looking to expand the shop to Austin and across Dallas.
“The person I was when I left New York was different, and I hope the city will have the same effect on my business,” Teichman told the paper.
The new shop will be larger than the flagship Dallas location and have three piercing rooms and a lounge room.
