The Thanksgiving day spread at Buca di Beppo

Thanksgiving week is officially here. Whether you’re looking to beat the crowds at the grocery store by skipping all of the meal prep, or you regularly eat out with the family for the holiday and need a new restaurant for the occasion, here are a few dining options around the neighborhood to consider:

  1. Princi Italia will serve a three-course prix fixe menu on Thanksgiving, including traditional items such as caesar salad and turkey breast, or more of an Italian spin with ravioli and chicken lasagna. Call 214.739.5959 to make reservations in advance. Cost is $37 for adults, $18.50 for children 12 and under.
  2. Buca di Beppo on Park and Central will serve turkey and gravy, Italian sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and chocolate chip cannolis for dessert on Thanksgiving day from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Cost is $49.95 for three people; $89.95 for six. Sides of traditional pasta can be added for $12.95 for a half pan; $18.95 for a large pan. Make reservations online here.

Across the way on Park, visit Seasons 52 in the NorthPark Center for another Thanksgiving option between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. The restaurant’s Thanksgiving menu includes a Plainville Farms roasted turkey with gravy, herbed stuffing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, and house-made cranberry relish. Cost is $25.95 for adults and $12.95 for children under age 12 and reservations can be made online here. Picky kids and turkey-averse adults can order off of the regular menu, which will be available on Thanksgiving day as well.
  4. Savor a traditional Thanksgiving lunch at Ruggeri’s between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., or, make dinner reservations between 5 and 10 p.m. Bottomless mimosas are available for $7.95 per person. Cost is $29.95 for adults, $12.95 for children. Call 214-750-0111 to reserve.
  5. The Mercury will host a Thanksgiving Day buffet, including an array of first course, entrée, accompaniment, brunch and dessert offerings on Nov. 28, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Call 972.960.7774 or click here to schedule reservations, which cost $49.95 per person and $29.95 for children under ten.
