- Preston Hollow residents Karen and Bill Seanor host the 5th annual ‘Burgers and Burgundy’ fundraiser to benefit Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids (DIFFA) Sept. 29, 4-7 p.m. Chef John Tesar of Spoon Bar and fellow celebrity chefs will prepare burgers paired with delicious burgundy wines. - Mi Cocina, Taco Diner, and more recently, Mesero Miguel restaurant founder Mico Rodriguez announced that he is opening a new restaurant in Inwood Village in March. Rodriguez tells Escape Hatch Dallas that he is opening a third restaurant in March. So far we know that “it’ll be a second branch of Mesero Miguel, which will occupy a former toy store in Inwood Village.”
- Lastly, apparently “Preston Center has arrived.” That’s according to Culture Map food critic Teresa Gubbins. She credits the shopping center’s resurgence to such foodie-friendly arrivals as Spoon Bar (mentioned above), True Food Kitchen (coming soon), and Sprinkles Ice Cream.
